Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers

In early 2025 I was paired with a 5th year class in Templemichael College for BLAST, an Arts & Creativity in Education Residency. I collaborated with 23 students and their teacher over the course of 11 workshops where we explored a variety of printmaking methods, developing their artistic skills in a tactile creative process.  

Students participated in group feedback and discussion each week and created portfolios that showcased their artistic style in a range of printmaking techniques including; monotyping, mark-making, screenprinting, drypoint and kitchen lithography. From survey results gathered at the end of the project, students shared that they had gained greater confidence in their creative abilities.
