In 2024 I had an artist residency in Cloontuskert National School as part of Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers (BLAST). This was a full school collaboration between 67 children aged between 4-12 years old, their teachers and I.

During this collaboration, everyone was involved in painting the mural and the creative process that led to this. The final design chosen is an amalgamation of ideas and drawings the children had created during a creative workshop as part of the residency.

In 2025, the school asked me to partner up with them again for a Cruinniú na nÓg project this year to extend the mural. After speaking to students and getting their input I made a couple of design proposals for them to choose from and then over the course of 3 days we painted the mural together.
